My daughter is a descendent of the Shoshone tribe and it was awesome to show her one of the places where her ancestors are from and where many are buried. She loves coming to Fort Washakie area (as do I). And, the air around this cemetery, as well as Chief Washakie Cemetery, has an air of spirits and history to it. History and people are very important to remember and honor!
